1. Acceptance
By accessing or using AWFST (“the Service”) at awfst.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who Can Use the Service
The Service is intended for adults (18 years of age or older) or minors using it under direct adult supervision. Story generation requires an account that has been manually approved by an administrator. Accounts are granted at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to revoke access at any time.
3. What the Service Does
AWFST generates AI-powered illustrated stories based on prompts and settings you provide. Story text is generated by Anthropic’s Claude AI; illustrations are generated by third-party image generation APIs. Audio narration and sound effects (if enabled) are generated by ElevenLabs. We do not author or pre-write any story content.
4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Stories, images, and audio produced by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence and may occasionally be inaccurate, unexpected, or inconsistent. We make no representations about the accuracy, suitability, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing any content before sharing it with children or others.
AI-generated content does not represent the views or opinions of AWFST or its operators.
5. Your Content
Prompts and inputs. You retain ownership of the story prompts, descriptions, and images you provide. By submitting them, you grant us a limited license to process them through third-party AI services solely to generate your requested story.
Generated stories. Stories generated using the Service are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share, print, and enjoy them freely. You may not sell, license, or commercially distribute AI-generated content from this Service without our written permission.
Acceptable use. You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is harmful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or illegal. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this policy.
6. Uploaded Images
If you upload photographs or images, you represent that you have the right to use them and that they do not violate any third party’s rights. Uploaded images are processed only to fulfill your generation request and are not stored by us after the request is complete.
7. Intellectual Property
The AWFST name, logo, and website design are proprietary. Third-party IP options (television shows, franchises) in the character library are used for personal creative purposes only; they remain the property of their respective owners. Do not use generated content featuring third-party IP for commercial purposes.
8. Availability & Beta Status
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
9. No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AWFST AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
